Breakfast Startup is a forum for entrepreneurs and community leaders seeking to share knowledge and experiences to help grow their businesses, all while supporting their local community and charitable organizations.

 
Why We Started This?
As founders of two startups here in Ottawa, we recognized that there is an incredible business ecosystem building within our community, but many businesses and charitable organizations struggle to get ahead or even get noticed. With 98% of all jobs started by small business, it is essential to nurture and help these organizations maximize their potential, and it is why Breakfast Startup adopted the tagline:

What happens at Breakfast Startup?
Breakfast Startup provides themed events, lead by subject matter experts, for startups and small businesses that are seeking to educate themselves and others by talking about the “good, bad and ugly” experiences of growing their businesses. Each event will be used to bring awareness to and, fundraise or collect goods tied to a local charity.

Breakfast Startup is a federally registered Not-For-Profit Corporation in Canada (Corporation #978598-1), with its headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario.
